Where submitted content lives
Creators can upload photos and videos from the Content tab in their Creator Hub and submit them to one of your programs or campaigns. Submissions appear in your dashboard under Content → Submitted.
This is separate from the Instagram and TikTok posts LoudCrowd collects, which stay under Content → Social. A submission does not add anything to the creator's storefront.
Don't see a Submitted tab? Content submissions are not turned on for your account.
Who can submit
Requirement | Details |
Membership | Approved member of the program or campaign |
Program or campaign | Currently live. A campaign must be inside its start and end dates and not paused |
Photos | JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 30 MB |
Videos | MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 4 GB |
Submissions and their comments stay visible after a program or campaign ends.
Filtering submissions
Submissions are listed newest first. You can filter by Approval Status, Post Date, Programs, Campaigns and Creator Email.
Example. Filter Approval Status to No status to see everything still waiting on a decision.
Reviewing a submission
Click a submission to open it. You will see the photo or video, the caption, the creator, the program or campaign it was submitted to, and the comment thread.
Status | What it means | What the creator sees |
No status | Not reviewed yet. Every new submission starts here | Pending review |
Approved | The content is signed off | Approved |
Rejected | The content needs changes. Select Reject with comment; a comment is required | Changes requested |
Use Add comment to leave feedback at any time without changing the status.
Each comment shows which teammate wrote it. Creators see your brand as the sender, not the individual teammate.
What creators are notified about
Creators receive an email when a submission is approved or rejected. Comments appear in the creator's Library.
Action | Creator email |
Approve | Your content was approved by [brand name] |
Reject with comment | Action required on content submitted to [brand name] |
Add comment | None. The comment appears in the creator's Library |
Both emails link the creator to their Library, where they can see the status and every comment on the submission. Each status change sends a new email.
Need a creator to make changes? Select Reject with comment and explain what to change. The creator receives the Action required email, sees your comment in their Library, and can upload a corrected version.
For the full email copy, see LoudCrowd Notifications.
Common questions
How do I ask a creator to change something?
Reject the submission with a comment explaining the change. The creator is emailed and can resubmit.
Does adding a comment send an email?
No. Comments appear in the creator's Library. Approving or rejecting sends the email.
Can I leave a comment on approved content?
Yes. Approve the submission, then use Add comment.
How does a creator fix rejected content?
They upload the corrected version as a new submission. The original keeps its Rejected status.
Will the creator see who on my team reviewed their content?
No. Creators see your brand name on comments, not the teammate.
