LoudCrowd Notifications

A map of every email and notification LoudCrowd sends on its own — to your creators and to your team — plus the messages to build during onboarding.

Written by Natalie Barnes

LoudCrowd sends some emails on its own — you don't build them or turn them on. Others are yours to write, and if you skip them, nobody gets them.

The automatic ones are standardized across the LoudCrowd platform: every brand sends the same notifications, with the same copy, from [email protected]. You can't edit or rebrand them, and your Email Branding settings don't apply — those govern the messages you write and send.

The short version: rewards, applications, sales, tiers, and post decisions are handled automatically. Your welcome and invite messages are not. Write those before you start inviting creators.

Sent automatically to your creators

Each of these lands as an email and as a notification in the creator's Hub feed. They're on by default for new accounts.

What you set up yourself

Message

Why it matters

Welcome

Sent automatically when a creator is approved — but only if you've built the template. No template, no message.

Invite

Required to invite creators from Discovery. The invite won't send without it.

Everything else

Announcements, campaign kickoffs, code reminders — yours to send, on your timing

Both templates live in Messages → Templates. Your welcome message should cover their affiliate code and storefront link, what you'd like them to post, how rewards work, and where to ask questions.

Watch out: a message sent only to the Hub inbox doesn't email anyone. If it's time-sensitive, send it by email too.

Onboarding checklist

  1. Build your Welcome template — before approving anyone.

  2. Build your Invite template — before inviting from Discovery.

  3. Confirm the right people are receiving commission and reward-code alerts.

  4. Set your Email Branding so the messages you send look like you.

  5. Skim the creator table above so you don't duplicate what they already hear.
