Integrate your Smile account with LoudCrowd to effortlessly reward program members with points through Smile.
Before we start, you must have a PRO or Enterprise plan with Smile in order to complete the integration.
How to set up the integration:
Log into your Smile account
Go to Settings > Platforms
At the top, select Show More which will reveal your public and private API keys. Copy your Private API Key.
Log into your LoudCrowd account
Go to the Integrations tab -> click Add Integration under Outbound
Select Smile -> paste that Private API key -> click Save
How to set up a Smile reward in LoudCrowd:
In LoudCrowd, create your program (or surprise & delight) reward
Go to Settings -> Rewards -> + Add Reward
Name your reward (ex. 1000 points) -> select SMILE for Reward Method -> Create an Event ID (ex. LoudCrowd_1000points)
In Smile, ensure your reward uses the same Event ID as the LoudCrowd Reward (ex. LoudCrowd_1000points)
How to test the integration + reward:
Go to the Integrations tab in LoudCrowd
Click the Test button
Enter in your email address
Paste the Reward Event ID exactly as it shows (ex. LoudCrowd_1000points)
Click Test
