When LoudCrowd attributes a Shopify order to one of your creators, it can automatically tag that order in Shopify so you can filter and report on program-driven orders directly in your Shopify admin — no exports, no switching between platforms.
How It Gets Enabled
Order tagging turns on automatically when your Shopify store is connected (or reconnected) to LoudCrowd, as long as the app has been updated or installed after June 2026.
What Gets Tagged
Every order that LoudCrowd attributes to a creator in your program receives a LoudCrowd tag. Orders also receive a more specific tag based on how the attribution happened:
Attribution method | Tags applied |
Creator tracking link (the customer clicked a creator's link) |
|
Affiliate/discount code (the customer used a creator's code at checkout) |
|
Both link and code on the same order |
|
Manual attribution |
|
Tags are appended — LoudCrowd never removes or overwrites your existing order tags.
Tags apply regardless of order status — refunded, canceled, or fulfilled orders are all tagged if they have a LoudCrowd attribution. Use Shopify's built-in order-status filters to narrow down to paid/active orders.
Only new orders are tagged — orders attributed after the feature is enabled for your store receive tags. Existing historical orders are not retroactively tagged.
Filtering Orders in Shopify
Once orders start getting tagged, you can use them anywhere Shopify supports tags:
Orders list — In your Shopify admin, go to Orders, then filter by the
LoudCrowdtag to see all program-attributed orders. Filter byLoudCrowd-LinkorLoudCrowd-Codeto see the link-driven or code-driven subsets specifically.Shopify Flow — Use the
LoudCrowdtag as a trigger or condition in your Shopify Flow automations (e.g., add a note, notify a team, or route to a specific fulfillment workflow).Exports and reports — Tags are included in Shopify's standard order export CSV, so you can pull a tagged-order list into a spreadsheet or BI tool.
