This guide will walk you through how to set up your Tremendous rewards in the native app as well as in LoudCrowd.
-------------
Set Up Your Tremendous Account
Get in touch with your Client Strategist to support in creating and integrating your account. They will create your Tremendous account and complete the LoudCrowd integration. Your Client Strategist will create the your Tremendous account as a sub-team to LoudCrowd, which will give you access to reduced fees for sending commission and rewards with cash redemption options. They will also help you to copy over the 'Affiliate Commissions' template that can be branded to make your payouts feel more personalized.
Add Your Tax Entity in Tremendous
To enable automatic W-9 collection for creators who reach the IRS tax reporting threshold, you'll need to add your tax entity information in Tremendous.
Why this matters
Tremendous can automatically collect W-9 information from creators once they exceed the applicable tax reporting threshold. For payments made in 2026, the threshold is $2,000 in commissions earned during the calendar year. Setting up your tax entity now ensures tax documentation is collected automatically moving forward.
Steps to Add a Tax Entity
Log in to your Tremendous account.
In the left-hand navigation menu, go to Taxes.
Select Tax entities.
On the Tax Entities page, click Create tax entity.
Enter your company's tax information, including:
Legal business name
Tax classification
Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Tax ID
Business address
Review the information for accuracy and save the tax entity.
What Happens Next?
Once a tax entity is configured:
Tremendous will track recipient earnings against the tax reporting threshold.
Eligible creators will automatically be prompted to complete a W-9 when required.
Tax documentation will be collected and stored within Tremendous, reducing manual follow-up and compliance risk.
Note: We recommend completing this setup before launching creator payments to ensure tax information is collected seamlessly from the start.

Configure Funding Source (US Funding Source)
A funding source is a pool of funds Tremendous draws from when sending out payments, gift cards, or donations. There are 3 options for creating a funding source. We recommend Bank Account or Credit Card for instantaneous delivery.
Credit card:
There is a 3% fee associated. Funds will be added instantly and you can set up rewards right away.
Bank account:
The amount you specify will be made available the next day.
Send an invoice to your finance team:
No fee associated. Funds will be added once Tremendous receives payment.
To set up the funding source, you can click "Add Funds" from the home screen, or navigate to Billing > Account Balance. Depending on which source you choose, you'll be prompted to complete the source setup.
Tip: If you choose to pre-fund your account, or are using Tremendous to send out non-commission rewards, we recommend enabling low-balance notifications in the Billing > Balance menu to notify your finance team when the balance in Tremendous is low.
If you would like to auto-reload your Tremendous account balance, you can also choose to set up an auto-reload rule from this menu!
Configure Funding Source (International Funding Source)
Tremendous manages all funds in USD. If your funding source is located outside of the United States, Tremendous will require that the account is funded via a Money Transfer Service or Credit Card. Tremendous does not accept wire transfers from international banks.
Money Transfer Service:
Tremendous recommends using Wise to transfer funds from abroad. Wise has predictable fees for money transfers. Check out Tremendous' full documentation on sending money from abroad for more details.
Credit Card:
Similar to US clients, International brands also have the option to fund their account using a credit card. Please note that credit card transactions incur a flat 3% fee.
Add Brand Customizations to your 'Affiliate Commissions' Campaign Template
Once your client strategist sets up your Tremendous account, a campaign template named 'Affiliate Commissions' will be added to your Tremendous 'Campaign Templates' tab.
Your campaign template settings allow you to customize how outgoing payments appear when they are received via email or through a web browser.
To customize the appearance of your 'Affiliate Commissions' campaign template, first navigate to the 'Campaign Templates' tab of Tremendous.
Click 'Actions' on the Affiliate Commissions Campaign template and click 'Edit webpage'
Upload your brand's Logo, modify the background hex color to any color that aligns with your brand, and change 'LoudCrowd' to your brand's name wherever applicable. There will be default messaging set up for you - but feel free to customize it! Click save whenever you're satisfied.
Next, click 'Actions' on the Affiliate Commissions Campaign template and click 'Edit email'
From the 'edit email' menu, you'll want to make the same modifications as you completed for the webpage view, but you can also make additional modifications such as changing the Email Sender Name and Subject Line.
Once you have completed all your customizations, your Campaign Template brand customization has been completed!
Configure your Affiliate Commission Payment Redemption Options
Next, you'll want to specify which payment methods your affiliates can choose from. Please note, for international creators, they are only able to redeem via Paypal.
